AMBER BED „AMBERDORM“

10 kilogrammes of amber are worked into the "Amberdorm" amber bed with the classical mattress size of 90 x 200 cm: this means that more than 100,000 individual stones are distributed over a total of 84 compartments (6 x 14). For the purposes of comparison: an amber necklace with a length of 40 to 45 cm with an average stone size of weighs approximately 15 grammes. Only natural, thermally untreated amber from the Baltic Sea are used for our amber bed.

The amber stones are sewn into a cotton cover: one side consists of high-quality, naturally coloured cotton viscose satin, the other side consists of 100 % knitted cotton, which is basted with a thick layer of cosy pure new wool. This means that the stones can be intensively felt, according to need: this is experienced as a soothing massage.

The whole body moulds into the amber bed, the contact surface with the amber – and the corresponding effect – is very large therefore. The duration of the effect is just as intensive, since one usually sleeps or rests in bed for several hours per day. The sleeping person is relaxed and hardly exposed to any stimulii at all.

The "Amberdorm" amber bed fits into any bed. It is laid directly on the mattress with a cover fitted over it and then laid on top of the well-covered mattress in order to increase the effect.
